Prior to joining the El Segundo office of Kjar, Mckenna & Stockalper, Mr. Rojas defended insurance carriers, self-insured private employers, and governmental entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation defense litigation. In addition, Mr. Rojas has experienced representing detained and non-detained clients in both affirmative and non-affirmative immigration law matters, as well as advocating on behalf of employers and management in labor, employment, and civil litigation matters.
As a Dean’s Merit Scholar and Samuel S. Foulk Scholar at UC Davis School of Law, Mr. Rojas served as Managing Editor of the Immigration and Nationality Law Review as well as a Staff Editor of the UC Davis Business Law Journal. During law school, Mr. Rojas was a recipient of the 2016 Sacramento County Bar Association 1L Diversity Fellowship, the 2017 CELA/FAIR Employee Justice Fellowship, and the Immigration and Nationality Law Certificate. He was a summer associate at two distinguished and prominent law firms during his first and second years, focusing on labor and employment matters. Notably, Mr. Rojas also participated in the law school’s renowned Workers’ Rights Clinic and Immigration Law Clinic.
Mr. Rojas received his B.A. at UCLA and Juris Doctor at UC Davis School of Law. Before enrolling in law school, Mr. Rojas was a member of the UCLA School of Law’s Law Fellows Program and worked at an international telecommunications company as a member of the company’s Human Resources Information Systems team.
