In his free time, Mr. Plesset enjoys staying active through running and playing pickleball, as well as unwinding by playing guitar. He is an avid fan of film and television and especially enjoys experiencing new movie releases in the theater. Outside of work, he values spending time with family and particularly enjoys being an uncle to his two young nephews.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Mr. Plesset is a California-licensed attorney whose practice focuses on medical malpractice and professional liability defense. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and his Juris Doctor from Chapman University, Fowler School of Law. During law school, Mr. Plesset gained hands-on litigation experience on both sides of personal injury practice, beginning at a plaintiff’s personal injury firm before transitioning to insurance defense and ultimately medical malpractice defense.

Since joining the defense side, Mr. Plesset has developed a strong interest in the complexity and diversity of medical malpractice litigation. He works closely with healthcare providers, experts, and insurance carriers on all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation. Mr. Plesset is known for his diligence, detailed case analysis, and commitment to advocating for healthcare professionals in high-stakes litigation.
