KMS is proud to announce that Partner Robert McKenna has been elevated to the rank of Advocate by the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
The rank of Advocate is one of ABOTA’s highest distinctions and recognizes trial lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional courtroom experience, skill, integrity, and professionalism. Membership in ABOTA is by invitation only and is reserved for attorneys who have distinguished themselves through extensive jury trial experience and an unwavering commitment to preserving the civil jury trial and the Seventh Amendment.
To attain the rank of Advocate, an attorney must have at least eight years of active trial practice and have served as lead counsel in at least 50 civil jury trials to verdict. In addition to meeting these demanding trial qualifications, candidates are evaluated for their character, ethics, civility, and dedication to the highest standards of the legal profession.
This recognition reflects Robert’s decades-long commitment to excellence in trial advocacy and his reputation for professionalism, integrity, and outstanding client representation. The firm congratulates Robert on this well-deserved achievement.
