Robert McKenna and Alessa Jonas successfully defend vascular access nurse at arbitration

A vascular access nurse was alleged to have inserted a PICC line incorrectly resulting in injury to the hand of a patient who was a cosmetic dermatologist. That patient claimed to have sustained permanent damage to his hand, preventing him from practicing as a cosmetic dermatologist. Robert and Alessa questioned the legitimacy of the patient’s allegations, in particular his claim for damages. After extensive investigative efforts and successful cross examination at arbitration, the patient’s damages claim proved to be fabricated and the case was dismissed.
